Pune: The health of veteran actor Vikram Gokhale is slowly improving. The officials of the hospital where he is undergoing treatment here gave this information on Friday. Actor Gokhale (77) is undergoing treatment at the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital here for a host of health problems, hospital spokesperson Shirish Yadkikar said, “Gokhale’s health is showing slow but steady improvement.” He is opening his eyes and there is movement in his hands and feet.
He will probably be put on life support for the next 48 hours.” He said his blood pressure and heartbeat were fine. Gokhale, who worked equally in theatre, television and films, starred in Amitabh Bachchan’s “Agneepath” (1990), Has acted in several Marathi and Bollywood films including “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” (1999), “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” (2007), “Natsamrat” (2015) and “Mission Mangal” (2019).
Her recent release is the Marathi film “Godavari”. On Thursday, Gokhale’s family members and doctors at the hospital had said that he was in a critical condition and was not responding to treatment.
