Mumbai, (IANS)Actor Sharad Kelkar, known for his work in films like ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, ‘Bhoomi’ and the recently released film ‘Har Har Mahadev’, will soon be making a biopic titled ‘Shri’ on industrialist Shrikant Bolla. Will be seen in Srikanth, a visually impaired industrialist, is the co-founder of Bollant Industries, which manufactures a range of products and provides employment to people with disabilities, with funding from Ratan Tata.
The actor recently shared a picture on his social media where the film’s team can be seen. “Glad to be a part of Shrikant Bhola’s biopic hashtag-SRF, with cast & crew Rajkummar Rao & Alaya F & Jyothika,” he wrote in the caption.
He added in the caption, “Produced by Bhushan Kumar, T-Series Shiv Chanana and Nidhi Parmar and Chalk & Cheese Films, directed by Tushar Hiranandani”.
The Muhurat shot of the film took place recently and the shooting is going to start soon.
Sharad, a finalist of Grasim Mr. India, started his television career in 2004 with Doordarshan’s show Aakrosh in which he played the role of Inspector Sachin Kulkarni.
The actor rose to prominence in the film industry due to his natural and believable performances, including his portrayal of the Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’.
