Recently, during an interview, Saif Ali Khan told how the fees of lead actors have increased a lot in the industry. Somewhere this is the reason that his film Vikram Vedha also failed at the box office. He said that this is very disappointing. Why did a film like Vikram Vedha not do well at the box office?
Saif Ali further said that Vikram Vedha film was praised by many, but it was not expected that it would not run at the box office. When Saif was asked a question about films not running continuously at the box office, he said, ‘I don’t know, but something is happening. People will continue to make films. The fees of actors will keep on increasing, but the fees of some actors are very high. Stars are being paid very high fees, but the returns are not good.

Apart from this, Saif Ali Khan told that only 2 percent of the population spends money to watch films, but if it increases to 20 percent, then the industry will become prosperous. However, he also said that people have to earn money too so that they can spend for films.
Vikram Vedha’s budget was more than 100 crores
Talking about Vikram Vedha, the budget of this film by Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan was more than Rs 100 crores, but it was limited to only Rs 78 crores at the box office. Directed by Pushkar-Gaytri, this film was a Hindi remake of the Tamil superhit film Vikram Vedha, in which R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi played the lead roles.
