The lehenga was made from Banarasi silk
Bride-to-be Meera Verma in California picked a pink lehenga from Sabyasachi’s bridal collection. This lehenga was made from heavy banarasi silk fabric. Light tone cloth was chosen for the middle part of the kalidar lehenga, while dark color was added for the border. Raw-silk was used on the lower part of the lehenga, on which zari as well as star work was done.
not bold, classy blouse
The blouse with the lehenga was given a classy touch. It had deep round cut neckline with half sleeves. It also had micro-sized embroidery matching the lehenga, which was adding to its beauty. The bride wore a pink colored organza dupatta on the head and shoulders with the lehenga set. Stripes adorned with overall golden work were visible on it.
ornaments that enhance beauty
Brides are usually seen adding heavy jewelery to their bridal look, but Mira chose choker neckpieces, jhumkas and maangtika for herself, which instead of overpowering her beauty, accentuated her. With perfect makeup and hair-do, the lehenga was leaving no stone unturned to give the bride a perfect look.
When the pictures of this bride dressed in pink lehenga were shared on Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s Brides of Sabyasachi page, people too could not stop themselves from praising. Some started a flurry of comments to know the cost of the lehenga, while some tied the bridge of praise to the bride, calling her a ‘doll’.
